Welcome aboard Marines! My name is Ensign Derrick Haught. I am the Chief of Security. The Marine Detachment Commander for the Battlestar ARIES- BSR-26 is Gunnery Seargent Jesse Gutierrez.
Overview of Duties:
We are, for all intents and purposes, the security force aboard this vessel. The CMC provides many different services aboard BSR-26. We patrol the ship, provide security in CIC, provide personal security for the Commander, the Colonial President, and any other VIP that is aboard the Aries. We act as sentries both in the brig, and at the arms lockers. All Marines assigned to the Aries will learn basic life support. They will maintain proficiency in a number of weapons. They will be trained in Special Operations tactics. We will train, we will train, and we will train some more. Get used to the idea...It will keep you alive.
